Leather Rifle Sling
Craftsmanship You Can Rely On.
A wide shoulder pad, individually adjustable length and a secure grip, all brought together in a timeless, classic design. Handcrafted from leather for lasting quality and comfort.
The integrated cushioning provides noticeable relief for your shoulder — a difference you will appreciate, especially on longer days in the field.

The Shoulder Pad
The generously sized shoulder pad distributes the weight of your rifle evenly across your shoulder, helping to reduce pressure and fatigue during longer periods of carrying. Its substantial padding provides a noticeably more comfortable carrying experience, even on extended days in the field. Wide, padded shoulder sections are commonly used on premium rifle slings specifically to improve weight distribution and carrying comfort.
The shoulder pad is constructed from three carefully assembled layers: the outer leather, an integrated neoprene cushioning layer and the leather lining. All three layers are securely bonded and stitched together, creating a durable yet comfortable construction with an overall thickness of approximately 6–7 mm.
Thanks to its generous width and substantial cushioning, the shoulder pad also serves as a practical padded rifle rest when required — combining traditional leather craftsmanship with thoughtful functionality in the field. This dual use of a wide, soft sling section as a padded rifle rest is also found in purpose-designed hunting slings.

The Braided Leather Strap
The Braided Leather Strap
At the lower end of the shoulder pad, the hand-braided leather strap begins, providing a reassuringly secure and substantial grip. Unlike many narrow, lightweight leather straps, this one has a noticeable presence in the hand — solid, comfortable and easy to control.
The strap is crafted from individual 4 mm thick leather segments, each cut separately before being carefully braided together by hand. This labour-intensive construction is not merely a design feature; it also serves a practical purpose.
Each individual leather segment has a slight natural flexibility. Combined within the braided structure, these segments create a noticeable cushioning and spring effect when carrying your rifle, helping to absorb movement and reduce strain on the shoulder.
The construction also allows the length of you

Attaching the Rifle Sling
To attach the rifle sling to your firearm, we recommend using suitable quick-release sling swivels. The swivel loop should have an opening of at least 20 mm (W) × 4 mm (H) to accommodate the leather strap. Please also make sure that the swivel and its mounting system are compatible with your particular firearm. Quick-release swivels with openings of around 20 mm or more are commonly used for this type of rifle sling.
At both the upper and lower ends of the sling, the leather is secured using a traditional stud fastening. The metal components are carefully enclosed by leather on both sides. This thoughtful construction helps to prevent unwanted metallic noise while also protecting your firearm from unnecessary contact and wear during regular use.
To make attaching and threading the ends of your rifle sling as straightforward as possible, we provide a step-by-step video tutorial.
