Bolleband — Origins
2012 – Everything began with our dog Bolle — a chocolate-brown Labradoodle. Before that I had already worked with leather for 20 years — making handbags, moccasins, leather vests, belts and bracelets.
2013 – Bolle becomes the namesake for Bolleband and has been an active product tester ever since.
Sales of the first collars were mostly through customer recommendations.
The first very small online shop with 15 products went online.
2015 – First trade show appearance with a very Spartan booth.
2016 – Move across the Elbe to the south of Hamburg.
New premises with more room for workshop, materials and showroom for our leather collars and leashes.
Expansion of the online shop with significantly more collars, leashes and the Click-TO-GO.
“Emma” – a little Russian street-mix female dog joins us.
2017 – Production of the first greyhound collars − entering the greyhound scene.
Trade show appearances in Hannover, Rostock & Münster.
2019 – special hunting dog accessories & 2 premieres:
1. Appearance at the hunting trade fair Jagd & Hund in Dortmund with the first specific hunting-dog products
2. Debut at the world’s largest greyhound show in Donaueschingen
First retailers include our products in their offerings.
Trade show appearances in Dortmund, Hannover, Rostock, Münster & Hamburg.
2020 – New products such as the “Ablaufleine” (release leash), over-shoulder leash, whisper leash / stalking leash, tracking strap in the hunting-dog segment.
In the greyhound area, production of the starting leash begins.
Expansion of our own showroom.
Appearances with our mobile showroom at greyhound events in northern Germany.
Trade show appearances in Dortmund, Hannover, Rostock & Hamburg.
2021 – Additional trade partnerships in the hunting segment.
Toffifee — the third dog moves in — a female standard poodle.
2023 – Anniversary year: 10 years of Bolleband.
Appearances with the mobile showroom at various greyhound events across Germany.
Trade show appearances in Dortmund, Hamburg, Schloss Grünau (Neuburg a.d. Donau), Rostock & Hannover.
2024 – A great year…
Trade show appearances in Dortmund, Schloss Grünau, Hannover.
Continued visits to numerous greyhound events across Germany.
2025 – Exclusive over-shoulder leash, rifle sling and the first handbag model.
At Jagd & Hund in Dortmund at the beginning of the year we presented the new over-shoulder leash with special braiding — with success!
Shortly afterwards a rifle sling followed.
