Stalking lead in 7 mm brown round leather, with horn toggles
The round leather sits softly in the hand and does not twist. The collar slips over the dog's head; you set its width by sliding the knot. Because not a single metal part is fitted, the lead stays quiet when you carry it over your shoulder. Collar and lead attachment are permanently joined to the strap.

- Toggles of real horn – instead of metal, and easy to grip wearing gloves.
- 50 cm collar included – its width set by sliding the knot, so no second collar is needed.
Made for stalking: the dog walks on the short 60 cm attachment, the lead rests over your shoulder, both hands stay free. The shoulder strap comes in 160 cm and 200 cm, with one or two attachments – the second version if you handle two dogs.
Which strap length should I choose?
The short strap keeps the dog near you and rides across the chest. The long one reaches right around shoulder and back and leaves room for bulky winter clothing. Neither is more correct than the other; it depends on how you like to walk. Write to us with your height and your habit, and we will name the one that fits.
What size of dog is the lead suitable for?
The 7 mm round leather handles dogs from small, up to about 10 kg, through medium at 10 to 25 kg, to large at 25 to 40 kg. For very powerful dogs above 40 kg, please ask us first.
How do I adjust the collar?
The collar slips over the dog's head – there is nothing to open. You change the neck size by sliding the knot: one way tightens the collar, the other loosens it. The setting stays until you change it again.
How do I care for the round leather?
Treat it with leather grease. After wet days let it dry off, and grease it now and then – this keeps the leather supple. Do not dry it on a radiator.
Why a round profile rather than a flat strap?
Round leather is the same thickness all the way around and has no edges. It is the shape the horn-toggle models are built in. If you prefer a flat strap, look at the stalking lead in 2 cm oiled leather – that one comes without toggles and without a second attachment. Both are questions of taste, not of quality.
What if something breaks?
Repair on request. The lead was made by hand in Hamburg. Send us a photo – we will then go through the repair with you and tell you what is possible.
